I’ve worn my black cowl neck sleeveless sweater with this skirt before, and I’ve worn it with my yellow jacket before, but I had never worn the three together until today. I was really pleased with how it turned out.

• Jacket, sweater, skirt, tights, shoes: all from Target. It was so embarrassing to be wearing all these Target clothes and not realize it until I stopped by Target carrying my bag which also came from, you guessed it, Target.

Oh, hey. Check out this new way I learned to tie a scarf:

1. Fold scarf in half. Put it around your neck as if you were going to thread the ends through the loop.
2. Instead of putting both ends in the loop, just put one of the ends.
3. Then twist the loop one half turn and pull the other end through.

It looks like you’ve braided the scarf somehow, and shows off the ends more. I like it! My work friend Trish showed me. She works part time at Lucinda’s and learned it there.
